15-19 Mac 2014
Madakaripura waterfall

Note : Leaving misty Mount Bromo behind and descending into the Probolinggo Regency, one will find a spectacular sight secluded within the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park: this is the enchanting Madakaripura WaterfallBelieved to be the final meditation place of military Commander-in-Chief, Gajah Mada, of the great Javanese kingdom of Majapahit in East Java, the towering waterfall is fondly dubbed the eternal waterfall, since its waters never cease to pour down an endless rain of blessings on those fortunate enough to walk underneath it.

We are here... Bromo

Note : Mount Bromo (IndonesianGunung Bromo), is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East JavaIndonesia. At 2,329 metres (7,641 ft) it is not the highest peak of the massif, but is the most well known. The massif area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in East JavaIndonesia. The volcano belongs to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The name ofBromo derived from Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu creator god. Sulfur is collected from inside the caldera by workers.

We finally at the peak of Kawah Ijen

Note : The Ijen volcano complex is a group of stratovolcanoes in the Banyuwangi Regency of East JavaIndonesia. It is inside a larger caldera Ijen, which is about 20 kilometers wide. The Gunung Merapi stratovolcano is the highest point of that complex. The name "Gunung Merapi" means "mountain of fire" in the Indonesian language (api being "fire"); Mount Merapi in central Java and Marapiin Sumatra have the same etymology.

Note : May this friendship and love last forever my dear BFF!
